There is no such thing as a used solid core support here in NY from what I have seen. I cleaned it and painted it a couple of months ago, so it was ready to go. Here I got the new/used condenser mounted in. WebJan 9, 2008 · There is a lot of labor involved in replacing this part, and no, I doubt you want to try to straighten it - the additional labor would be more than replacing it most likely. Aftermarket replacements are not too much, ~150 USD, the pain is taking off all the stuff to replace the radiator support and a small amount of spot welding is required.
WebJun 10, 2014 · You won't need that big of hammer to tap that back in place. Just have someone lean on a block while you tap where there are kinks or ripples that are along the lower radiator support. Then hammer and dolly out the kinks and maybe a wide wide chisel to get the bends back where needed. Just take your time and don't over hammer it. WebNow if the vehicle sustained minimal damage like a bent fender, a damaged door or a broken headlight, then yes repairing your car would be a way to go (headlight repair costs are $15 to $20 for halogen bulbs, but over $100 for HID bulbs).
