Webb4 dec. 2024 · Parental leave is a period of statutory unpaid leave available to teachers, SNAs and other employees for the purpose of caring for their child. A teacher or SNA is entitled up to a maximum of 26 weeks' parental leave for each child up to the age of 13 years, or the age of 16 years in the case of a child with a disability or long-term illness.
