It has many of the things that travelers love--a sense of exotic mystery, interesting history, beautiful vistas, and unspoiled beaches. It's easy enough to navigate if you're used to Western cities, while being clearly different from those Western cities. WebTangier's old town is located in the north of the city, close to the coast, as depicted in "One Thousand and One Nights": houses are densely populated, with various styles, and streets and lanes are intertwined, full of shops, stalls and handicraft workshops, all day long. Crowded, noisy and lively.
